Bio Energy Point doo is 100% owner of Green Energy Point doo. The company produces electricity and heat from waste wood biomass.

The cogeneration plant with capacity of 2.38 MW/h of electricity and 8.3MW/h of thermal power was put into operation in July 2019 and it is the first and only cogeneration plant in the Republic of Serbia. Almost all generated heat is used for the production of pellet during the whole year, which makes the plant extremely energy efficient.

Burning of biomass does not increase carbon dioxide emissions in the atmosphere and thus has a positive environmental impact.

A contract has been signed with the public company Elektroprivreda Srbije for sale of electricity from renewable energy sources at a subsidised price for a period of 12 years. The Republic of Serbia has significant biomass potential and according to the analyses it is one of the most significant potential of renewable energy in our country.
